A wonderful day was spent yesterday at Woolfest lots of money spent on lots of lovely wool! Wensleydale, Jacob, Leicester longwool, Merino, Alpaca, Llama, oh I could have bought lots more, so much choice. The rare breeds show was interesting, the one that stood out though had to be the Valais black nose sheep brought by Jamie Wood, I had never seen this breed before and their fleece is beautiful and they were so calm, they were described as docile sheep by the presenter. Now I need to dig into my new hoard of fibre and produce some new woolly creations. Woodland Woozles can have some exciting new hair colours and with my alpaca and llama wool I'd like to make alpacas and llamas of course! A few orders to complete and then I can start on those.
