_Tup and ewe doorstops are only available at Viriidian gallery, Keswick and Santon Bridge gift shop, my Folksy shop and directly from myself. I designed these doorstops entirely myself and I'm so pleased they are being enjoyed by so many folks. My Herdwick family is still growing! Meet Rosemary, Sage and Bubo, they are weighted owls. Manx Loughton, Alpaca and Merino have been used to create their soft fluffy faces, with a blend of wools on their bodies making a feathery effect My Folksy shop  Hi, Herdwick heaven in my studio at the moment, I have small tups and large,doorstops and one little yow. I am now working on my owls after carding Jacob, Merino and Blue faced Leicester together to make feathery owl colours. I have had enquires about carding, I use both methods of hand carding and drum carding. Hand carding is great to get started and to blend smaller amounts of wool. I use the drum carder to blend larger amounts into batts. I have added pictures below from a book I have to give you a better idea, carding is so much fun. Happy felting! My Folksy shop |
