Hello , I hope you have all had a good 2025 and have managed to enjoy your needle felting , and any other crafts you may turn your hand to . We certainly can't complain about the Summer we had this year . Maybe not as warm as some places but it was drier and warmer than usual up here in the North West , enabling us to get out doors and enjoy it . The vegetable garden did well this year , and with the benefit of the greenhouse I had a bumper crop of cucumbers and chilli peppers . We also managed to get in over sixty fell walks since the start of the year too . , The Autumn has been a bit of a mixed bag of weather in our area but not too bad . Since retiring from the workshops , I only have the Etsy shop and we always try to keep items in the Viridian Gallery at Keswick . We currently have a fox design cushion , and a nativity set , like the kits I had in the Etsy shop . The kits for the nativity figures have now sold out for this year , (the donkey and sheep are sold separately and available) but the one in the gallery is already ready made up , complete with the animals as shown below , and ready to display as part of your Christmas decorations . There are also two small fox sculptures , again like the ones in my Etsy shop which you can make yourself as a kit , but these ones are ready made .     The small hare kit is just as popular as it's larger cousin we used to make in the workshops for so many years . I've been sending out quite a few of the fox kits recently too .
I reluctantly had to stop sending items to the USA this year , for which I must apologise to my customers over the other side of the Atlantic who have supported my shop . This was due to the situation with the tariffs which was causing so much uncertainty and issues for all sellers . Hopefully this is only a temporary thing and I will look into it again and see what solutions are being put in place , as a fair percentage of my items were being despatched to the US . The picture kits continue to be popular , and we intend to introduce a couple of new ones in 2026 .
